Ashoka Vanamro Arjun Kalyanam (translation: Arjun’s Wedding in the Garden of Ashoka Tree) is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by Vidya Sagar Chinta and written by Ravi Kiran Kolla. The film is produced by SVCC Digital and stars Vishwak Sen, Ritika Naik and Rukshar Dhillon in the lead roles. The story revolves around Arjun Kumar Alam, a 33-year-old single man who gets engaged to Madhavi, but she elopes before the wedding.
The film’s editing and cinematography were done by Viplav Nyshadam and Pavi K Pavan, respectively. The film’s music was composed by Jay Krish. The film was released on May 6, 2022.

Arjun Kumar Alam (Vishwak Sen) is a 33-year-old man from Suryapet, Telangana. As his family is unable to find a girl in their community, he teams up with a family from Ashokapuram village in Andhra Pradesh. They travel to Ashokapuram for an engagement ceremony with Madhavi (Rukshal Dhillon). Arjun enjoys talking to Madhavi, but she appears shy and doesn’t talk much. Madhavi has a younger sister, Vasudha (Ritika Nayak), who is more talkative. During a pre-wedding photoshoot, Arjun notices Madhavi with tears in her eyes. When Arjun’s family is about to leave for the city, the bus breaks down, forcing them to remain in the same house for a few more days. Any further attempts to leave are thwarted by government curfews imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After watching this movie, you may not forget it for at least 2 days. She played great without misfiring. This movie exceeded all expectations. Those who gave it a rating of 2 or 3, please improve your ability to judge or appreciate such movies. I am writing this review because I have watched it 4 times. It’s complete family entertainment…the acting, the story, the emotion, the comedy, the sentiment, and of course the single fight that happened quite naturally…it has it all.
