Black Adam is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC character of the same name. It is from New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and Flynn Picture Co. Produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is a spin-off of Shazam! (2019) and the eleventh film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). It is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Štikiel and writing team Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Dwayne Johnson plays the hero of the film, an ancient superhuman who is freed from magical imprisonment by a group of archaeologists, and who liberates the nation of Kahndaq from the Intergang crime syndicate.
Local leaders plan to retrieve an ancient artifact called the Crown, which Sabak takes under his control. Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell and Noah Centineo appear in supporting roles. Johnson was involved in the early development of Shazam!. He was originally attached to play the villain Black Adam in September 2014, but producers later decided to give the character his own film at Johnson’s urging. Shtykiel was hired in October 2017. Collet-Serra joined the project in June 2019, with a planned release date of December 2021, but that timeline was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2600 BC In 400 BC, Kahndaq’s tyrant King Akhtun enslaved his people to mine the mythical metal Eternium, using it to forge the Crown of Shabak, which would grant him strength and invincibility. After attempting to rebel against Akhtun, a young slave boy is chosen as a hero by the Council of Magic and transformed into an adult superhero. He kills Akhtun and ends his reign.
Now Kahndaq is oppressed by the criminal organization Intergang, and archaeologist Adrianna Tomaz, along with her brother Karim and colleagues Samir and Ishmael, are trying to find the Crown of Sabak. Adrianna finds the crown in the tomb, but Intergang forces kill Samir. As a last resort, she reads a spell that awakens the superhuman warrior Tess-Adam from his slumber. Amanda Waller, a US government official, believes Adam is a threat, and after he massacres Intergang soldiers, she contacts the Justice Society to arrest him.

They should have promoted the movie in such a way that people who don’t like his movies would not even consider watching it, and die-hard DC fans like me should have rushed to the theaters and spread the good news. Also, ignore the useless critics, because everyone has different personal tastes when it comes to great movies that they really like, regardless of the general opinions of others. I really love this movie.
