Daddy is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and co-written by Aditya Basu and Siddharth Garima. The film is produced by Jio Studios. It stars Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivan Bhathena. It is a remake of the 2011 French film Sleepless Nights.

Daddy was released on JioCinema on June 9, 2023, and received mixed to positive reviews from critics. At the Filmfare OTT Awards 2023, Daddy was nominated for seven awards, including Best Actor in a Web Original Film (Kapoor).

Bloody Daddy Movie Story

NCB officer Sumer Azad and his lieutenant Jagadish Prasad aka Jaggi busted a drug deal in Gurgaon. Later, drug lord Sikandar kidnapped Sumer’s son Atharva to get a bag of cocaine in return. With no other option, Sumer agreed to collect the bag from the NCB headquarters and bring it to the club for exchange. His assistant Aditi Rawat noticed Sumer hiding the bag in the men’s toilet and suspected him of drug smuggling. Aditi informed her boss Sameer Singh, who snatched the bag of cocaine from the toilet and started chasing Sumer.

Realizing that the bag of cocaine was missing, Sumer decided to return the bag of flour packets to Sikandar, believing that he and his entourage had helped him.
