Anil, a 28-year-old wheat seller, lives with his wife, mother and sister. Anil is looking forward to his sister Neha’s wedding to future civil servant Ajay and agrees to a dowry. To raise the dowry, he plans to sell his late father’s land but then finds out that Congressman Amar Singh has filed a case against him. He meets the Congressman and asks him to return the land, to which he readily agrees. Later,
when he returns, the police arrest him without any reason. He finds out that the broker has manipulated things in the Congressman’s favour. His sister is missing or kidnapped, hence the wedding is called off. The broker writes a confession after a beating. Congressman’s goons shoot Anil. His death is the climax.
