Dehati Ladke Season 1 Review
Shine Pandey is aptly cast as Rajat, a naive and insightful boy who lacks much experience of city life. Things slow down as he is attracted to Prerna and Chaaya (who always have beautiful and romantic Hindi songs like Tum Tak, Tumhide Ko Na playing in the background). Both Kusha Kapila and Saamya Jain have delivered some fine performances. On the contrary, Rajat’s chemistry with his friends Yuvana and Shashank played by Tanish Neeraj and Raghav Sharma is delightful. Rajat’s elder brother Prashant is played convincingly by Asif Khan. He is Rajat’s mentor and supports his future success.
The series introduces different aspects of the story without necessarily concluding it in the first season, but leaves room for possibilities for future seasons. While “Dehati Ladke” does not present an entirely new concept, it has its raw and refreshing moments, making it a harmless and worthwhile experience. Overall, the series is portrayed as a coming-of-age drama with boyish vulnerability at its core.
