Farzi is an Indian Hindi-language black comedy and crime thriller television series created, produced and directed by Raj & DK, who co-wrote the series with Sita Menon and Suman Kumar. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna and Bhuvan Arora. The series tells the story of a disillusioned artist who decides to make counterfeit money.
Farzi was originally conceived as a film in 2014 and expanded into a television series in 2019. Principal photography began in July 2021 in Mumbai. Filming also took place in Alibaug, Goa, Nepal and Jordan. Sachin Jigar and Tanishq Bagchi have composed songs, while Ketan Souda has provided music. The series is built back-to-back with Raj & DK’s spy series The Family Man.

Farzi is a web series about an artist who turns to counterfeiting after his grandfather’s printing business fails. In the series, Shahid Kapoor plays Sunny, an artist who teams up with his childhood friend Firoz (Bhuvan Arora) to make fake banknotes. The series also stars Vijay Sethupathi as Michael, an Indian police officer tasked with tracking down criminals like Mansoor Dalal (Kay Kay Menon), a gangster who is plotting a major coup.
