Gani is a 2022 Telugu-language Indian sports drama film written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Renaissance Pictures and AL Bobby Company. The film stars Varun Tej in the title role, with an ensemble cast including Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, Saiee Manjrekar and Naveen Chandra.
The film was scheduled for theatrical release on 25 February 2022, but was further delayed. The film was released theatrically on 8 April 2022, but received mostly negative reviews from critics. Following the film’s release, Tej accepted and apologized in a note on social media, acknowledging that the film was a box office failure.

Varun Tej’s power was not given to him by the director. In many scenes, he did very normal acting. It’s amazing that all of the powerful actors didn’t try to get the best out of them. It’s ahead of schedule to conclude one needs to hang tight minimum 12 days for film finished on story base as varun still to get fame.
