Kartikeya 2 is a 2022 Indian Telugu mystery action adventure film written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Kartikeya, starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran. The film is produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts[8] and People Media Factory. In the film, Dr. Kartikeya searches for the lost anklet of Lord Krishna.
The film was officially released in March 2020. Filming took place from February 2021 to March 2022 in India, primarily in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, and in Europe, in Spain, Portugal and Greece. Made on a budget of INR 150 crore, Karthikeya 2 was released in theatres on August 13, 2022 to positive reviews. The film became a surprise hit in both Telugu and Hindi, becoming the sixth highest-grossing Telugu film of 2022. It was named the Best Telugu Feature Film at the 70th National Film Awards.
