Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha , also known as Khuda Haafiz 2, is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Farukh Kabir. Panorama Studios, Action Hero Films, Cinergy. The sequel to the 2020 film Khuda Haafiz features Vidyut Jamwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi reprising their roles from the previous film, along with Rukhsar Rehman, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Sheeba Chaddha, Riddhi Sharma, Bodhisattva Sharma, Anushka Malchande, Deepak Tokas and Mohammed Saud Mansuri in important supporting roles.

After arresting a Noman[a] meat trader, Samir Choudhary returns to India with his wife Nargis, who suffers from depression and PTSD after the Noman incident. A year later, the couple is trying to lead a new normal life, but despite therapy and medication, it seems difficult. Samir’s best friend Deepak lost his brother and sister-in-law in a road accident, leaving only their 5-year-old daughter Nandini to survive. Deepak’s job as a traveling salesman means he is unable to take care of Nandini, so he decides to give Nandini up for adoption.
Samir suggests that he and Nargis host Nandini for a week before Deepak decides on anything, as he hopes that Nargis will bond with Nandini and finally come out of her depression. Nargis is initially unhappy with the new arrival, but with the help of her therapist, she soon takes her first steps towards Nandini. A dog-biting accident occurs and Nargis puts herself in danger to save Nandini. She soon begins to bond with the girl and after some time the couple formally adopts Nandini.

Our Indian society needs more movies that deal with such topics, which are harsh realities but taboo to talk about. What I really liked about this movie, besides the realistic action, was the transition from one phase to the next. I think it was a good representation of how a situation can change a person. A lot of things happened in the long movie, which is over two hours long, but somehow I didn’t feel that and I was able to watch it smoothly. This is another Vidyut Jamwal movie that you should definitely watch!
It’s a shame that the Bollywood industry doesn’t recognize such action stars and good movies. But surprisingly, the international action industry does this and is proud of it.
