Mahaan Movie Tamilyogi

Mahan (translation: The Great) is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under Seven Screen Studios. The film stars Vikram and Dhruv Vikram in the lead roles, alongside Simran, Bobby Sinha, Sananth, Vettai Muthukumar, Deepak Paramesh and Aadukalam Naren.

The film revolves around Gandhi Mahan’s journey from a commerce teacher to a liquor baron, but his journey takes a turn when his son Dadabhai Naroj, a radical Gandhian, vows to take revenge on Gandhi Mahan for violating Gandhian principles and abandoning his family.

Mahaan Movie Story

1968: Mohandas is a middle-aged activist who advocates temperance. His 12-year-old son Gandhi Mahan is his polar opposite, addicted to gaming. Sathyavan Soosaiyappan is his friend who plays against Gnanodhayam. Gandhi is a gambling genius and always helps Sathya to win the games.

At one point, Sathya keeps losing and confronts Gandhi. Gandhi says that he has no choice but to lose as Gnanam has kidnapped his beloved dog Joker. Everyone quarrels about it and the parents have to intervene. Mohandas makes Gandhi promise to lead the temperance movement and live as a mahan.

Mahaan Movie Review

The film is really impressive. A very good script by Karthik. He brilliantly connected the structure of the alcohol mafia with the government’s plan to open Tasmac in the film. Wow what a guy Vikram is, he nailed the entire film. The film gave him scope to act and he took it easy. Dhruv has a bright future ahead of him.

Yes, the film has its flaws and the script could have been better, but overall it will not disappoint you and you will definitely enjoy the film.
