Pathu Thala Movie Tamilyogi

Pathu Thala is a 2023 Indian Tamil neo-noir action thriller film directed by Oberi N. Krishna and produced by Studio Green in association with Pen Studios. The film stars Silambarasan alongside Goutham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Goutham Vasudev Menon, Santosh Pratap, Kalaiyarasan, Anu Sithara and Teejay Arunasalam.

A remake of the 2017 Kannada film Mufti, the story follows a crime boss, AG Ravanan “AGR”, who is pursued by an undercover cop, Guna, played by Sakthivel. The Tamil remake of Mufti was announced in June 2019, to be directed by Narthan, the director of the original film. Filming had to be postponed after Silambarasan delayed the start. This led to Narthan’s exit in October the following year, and his subsequent replacement by Krishna. Filming began in August 2021 and was shot sporadically in several parts, with completion at the end of November 2022. The filming locations include Chennai and Karnataka. The film’s music is by A. R. Rahman, cinematography is by Farooq J. Basha and editing is by Praveen K. L.

Tamil Nadu CM Arunmozhi Raja mysteriously disappears after being summoned by his rival Deputy CM Naanjilar Gunasekaran. The CBI investigates Ameer, a henchman of crime boss AG Raavanan, who is Naanjilar’s enemy. Ameer commits suicide when surrounded by police. Meanwhile, undercover CBI officer Sakthivel infiltrates AGR’s gang as Guna to gather evidence. Guna clashes with Selvin, AGR’s henchman, and reunites with ex-girlfriend Leela Thompson, who opposes AGR’s illegal activities. In a by-election,

Naanjilar pits Ruby Fernandez against AGR, leading to violence and retribution. Guna saves AGR from assassination attempts and learns about AGR’s family ties. AGR eliminates his disloyal accomplice Sabari and confronts Sakthivel. Ultimately, AGR kills Naanjilar in self-defense. Despite public outcry, AGR evades charges due to lack of evidence. Sakthivel’s loyalty is questioned, hinting at a darker turn of events.

Don’t go wit lot of expectations.. Such a engaging movie, you never feel bored any where.. 1st half Gowtham played his wonderful performance and justifying cast like Gowtham Menon others done well on their own characterization.
