Rudramkota Movie Story
The story is set in a remote village called Rudram Kota. Kothamma (Jayalalitha) rules the village as an exemplary elder. Rudra (Anil Kandavali) is an orphan and a loyal soldier of Kothamma. Shakthi falls in love with Rudra.
Kothamma’s granddaughter comes to the village as a guest and desires Rudra. In a shocking turn of events, the protagonists face tragedies including an assassination attempt on Kothamma. Who is behind these mysterious events? How will Kothamma and Rudra tackle the demons? That is the gist of the film.
Rudramkota Movie Review
Rudram Kota is a typical village film with themes of revenge, moral policing and powerful figures. Writer-director Ram Kona’s narrative is condensed; he doesn’t stray from the central theme.
The second half is predictable; it’s inspired by the duet between Rudra and Shakti. The story gets thick after this beautiful song in the middle of green bushes. The climax contains violence.
Joshua’s fight is regular. Adimalla Sanjeev’s cinematography is average. The music directors have done a good job. There are no meandering scenes in nature, the flashbacks to Rudra’s childhood are fascinating.
