Scam 2003: The Telgi Story is an Indian Hindi-language biographical financial thriller streaming series airing on SonyLIV in 2023. It is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and co-directed by Hansal Mehta. The series is based on the true story of a stamp paper forgery committed by Abdul Karim Telgi in the early 2000s and is inspired by Sanjay Singh’s book The Telgi Scam: A Reporter’s ki Diary. It is the second part of the Scam series after Scam 1992.
Gagan Dev Liar plays the protagonist Abdul Karim Telgi, and the series also stars Mukesh Tiwari, Sana Amin Sheikh, Bharat Jadhav and Shaad Randhawa.The first five episodes of the series will be released on September 1, 2023, via SonyLIV, while the remaining five episodes will be released on November 5, 2023.

Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit seller from Khanapur, came to Bombay with a job offer. Nine years later, when he was arrested for forging documents, he met Kaushal Jhaveri in prison and joined a group of chewing gum cleaners.
Abdul succeeds in stealing the official stamp paper from a train, but needs a license to sell in bulk: against Kaushal’s wishes, he tries to get it from the Old Customs House using his political connections, but is unsuccessful.
