A group of 12 teenagers, seven boys and five girls, plan to skip school to visit Kanagavalli, the village of Nakshatra’s grandmother. Nakshatra tells them a mysterious story about a 500-year-old well in her grandmother’s village, and they are intrigued. Intrigued, the group decides to visit Kanagavalli’s village to investigate the claims of paranormal activity and prove their courage as young people. On Monday, June 3, 2024, the group of teenagers skip school and go on an adventure.
They are accompanied by their friend Ayyankali, an orphaned and poor classmate who is often mocked by his classmates. However, the group boards a bus, but it is stopped due to a road blockade due to protests against honor killings. The youths get out and start running. On the way, they meet an autorickshaw driver who refuses to let them in his vehicle, drink grog and one of them is even bitten by a stray dog.
