The Beekeeper is a 2024 American action thriller film directed by David Ayer and written by Kurt Wimmer. The film stars Jason Statham, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Phylicia Rashad, Jemma Redgrave, and Jeremy Irons. Adam Clay, a former beekeeper employee, seeks revenge on his kindhearted mistress after she falls victim to a phishing scam.
The Beekeeper was released in the United States on January 12, 2024 by Amazon-MGM Studios, a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures subsidiary. The film grossed $152.7 million worldwide. In August 2021, it was announced that Jason Statham would star in the film and also serve as a producer for Miramax. David Ayer signed on as director in May 2022.
MGM acquired distribution rights to the film in the United States in August 2022. In February 2023, Sky Cinema acquired UK rights, with StudioCanal handling the UK theatrical release on Sky Cinema’s behalf.It was released by Amazon MGM Studios on January 12, 2024.
Bekeeper was released on VOD and digital platforms on January 30, 2024, followed by DVD, Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray on April 23, 2024.

Eloise Parker, a retired teacher, lives a solitary life, but has a tenant in her barn named Adam Clay, who lives a quiet life as a beekeeper and maintains a close friendship with Eloise. Eloise falls victim to a phishing scam that leaves her bankrupt and steals all her savings, including $2 million from a charitable foundation she manages. Devastated, Eloise commits suicide. Adam discovers her body and is arrested by Eloise’s daughter, FBI Agent Verona Parker.
After being exonerated and released, Adam contacts the mysterious group of beekeepers to track down those responsible and demand justice for Eloise. Adam is given the address of a call center run by Mickey Garnett. He storms the building and burns it down. Mickey’s boss, Derek Danforth, the building’s technical manager, tells Mickey to kill him. However, Adam kills Mickey’s men and cuts off the fingers on his right hand using a band saw. Mickey warns Derek that Adam is a beekeeper and warns Derek that he is the next target before Adam kills him.
