The Croods is a 2020 American animated adventure comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. The sequel to The Croods (2013) and the second part of the Croods series is directed by Joel Crawford (in his directorial debut) and written by Paul Fischer, Bob Logan, and writing team Dan and Kevin Hageman, from a book by Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders (directors of the previous film).
The film features recurring voice roles from Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke, and Cloris Leachman. The film also features new cast members including Peter Dinklage, Leslie Mann, and Kelly Marie Tran. The film follows the Croods family, Guy and his pets Bert, Chunky and Douglas as they discover an idyllic walled paradise where all their needs are met. Unfortunately, they also must learn to live with the Bettermans, a family a few rungs above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder.

The Croods: A New Age Review
This was one of the best sequels I have seen in a while. It perfectly balanced what was too cringy and didn’t push that boundary. The comedy was hilarious and didn’t drag on long to the point where I would get bored. I was always invested on what was going to happen next. One criticism I do have is story wise it needed to focus more on guy.
