Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Movie Story
Unicron, the planet-eater, attacks the homeworld of the Maximals, an advanced race of Transformers. Unicron’s messengers, the Terrorcons, led by Scourge, want the transwarp key, which opens a portal through time and space that allows Unicron to devour planets more quickly. Apelinck, the leader of the Maximals, sacrifices himself so the other Maximals can escape the planet before Unicron devours him. Now under the command of Optimus Primal, the Maximals escape to Earth with the key.
In Brooklyn, 1994, former military electronics expert Noah Diaz, trying to find work to support his sick brother Chris, is persuaded by his friend Reek to steal and sell a Porsche, which turns out to be an Autobot Mirage in disguise. At the same time, museum intern Elena Wallace examines an ancient falcon statue bearing the Maximal symbol and accidentally breaks it, revealing a key hidden within.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Movie Review
This movie is very different from Age of Extinction and The Last Knight. The CGI was great, the story was not as convoluted and full of wishful thinking as The Last Knight, the soundtrack was top notch and Mirage was the star of the show, the human characters were not hollow and one dimensional like Cade Yeager in TF5
they were more like Sam and Mikaela but without the romance, the pacing was great and it didn’t feel rushed like AOE or TLK. Even if you’re not a Transformers fan, I highly recommend watching this masterpiece, and before that, watch 2018’s “Bumblebee” as some flashbacks are mentioned in the beginning of the movie.
