Twisted Metal is an American post-apocalyptic action comedy television series created by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Michael Jonathan Smith. The series is based on the vehicular combat video game series from Sony Interactive Entertainment and stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Senoia, Will Arnett, and Thomas Haden Church.
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, amnesiac and talkative milkman John Doe is tasked with delivering a mysterious package with unknown contents across a devastated United States. He faces a chance to change his life, but he must face off against ruthless marauders in dangerous and destructive vehicles to secure his chance at a better future.
Development by Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions began in May 2019, and a full season was ordered by Peacock in February 2022. Season 1 was filmed in New Orleans between May and August 2022, with 10 episodes, and was released on Peacock on July 27, 2023. Season 2 was greenlit in December 2023, and is set to begin filming in Toronto in late 2024.

Super entertaining. Good comedy and action throughout. I played this game when I was younger and thought it was really cool to see them get to know the characters and grow. I even googled some characters I had completely forgotten about.
The story was well paced and by the end it left me wanting more. I truly hope they continue to work with the talented writing team they have assembled. 9.6/10, definitely worth a watch.
