Badla Movie Story
Naina Sethi is a bright young businesswoman living in London, living a seemingly perfect life, but her world is turned upside down when she is arrested for the murder of her lover, Arjun. Her lawyer, Jimmy Punjabi, hires renowned criminal lawyer Badal Gupta as his partner and spends the night trying to find out what really happened. Badal tells Naina that a witness will testify against her. Naina explains that she was blackmailed because of her and Arjun’s affair. They are called to a hotel, where she is assaulted and wakes up to find Arjun dead along with the money she had brought for the blackmailer. She was arrested but is now out on bail. Police found no evidence that anyone else was in the room or had broken into it.
Badal suspects Naina of hiding the truth and confronts her about the disappearance of a young man near the hotel. Naina then admits that she and Arjun had gone to a cabin in the forest a few months ago. On the way back, she accidentally crashes into another car, killing a young man named Sunny. Arjun persuaded them not to report it and covered up the accident. They placed Sunny’s body in the trunk of a car, which Naina then threw into a swamp. While Arjun was waiting for her, he was invited to the house of a couple, Rani and Nirmal, who happened to be Sunny’s parents. Ms. Rani, who heard her son’s mobile phone ringing as Arjun had forgotten to throw away his bag, became suspicious. Arjun and Naina managed to escape, but were worried that they would be found one day.
