Birds of Prey is a 2020 American superhero film directed by Cathy Yan and Christina Hodson based on the DC Comics team Birds of Prey. Four years after the defeat of Sorceress[a], the Joker breaks up with Harley Quinn and abandons her on the streets of Gotham City. She is taken in by Doc, a Taiwanese restaurant owner, and they bounce back by cutting her hair, keeping a spotted hyena, and trying out roller derby.

The only thing I didn’t like about this movie is the opening dialogue that gives the impression that Harley Quinn is a good person with a good attitude who always puts the needs of others before falling in love with the Joker. If she had fallen in love with him from the beginning and chosen that path, she actually couldn’t have been, but she chose the wrong path. Other than that, everything else about this movie is really great!! The characters were great, the story was great, the violence was there, and the movie had the perfect balance between dark and colorful.
