The Willoughbys Movie Story
A cat tells the story of the Willoughby brothers: Tim, Jane, and twins named Barnaby. The Willoughby family has a glorious past, but the children’s parents only care about each other. They despise all the children and deprive the siblings of love, food, and music. Tim is nostalgic for the family’s past glory.
Jane discovers a baby on the doorstep of her house. Despite Tim’s warnings, she brings the baby into the house, where the baby wreaks havoc. Willoughby’s parents throw the children out of the house and forbid them from returning unless they get rid of the baby. The children follow the rainbow to the doorstep of Commander Melanoff’s candy factory, where they name the baby “Ruth” and leave it there, believing that this is the place to be. On the way home, the brothers hatch a plan to get rid of their parents and improve their lives. The brothers create a vacation brochure filled with dangerous destinations that could kill their parents and leave the children orphaned. Her parents are overjoyed when they see the pamphlet and leave immediately. Tim tries to look after his siblings on his own but fails until a nanny hired by his parents arrives. Linda, the nanny, proves to be much warmer and more caring than his parents, and Jane and the Barnabys quickly become attached to her. However, Tim remains suspicious. Linda finds out about Ruth and rushes to the candy factory with the children. Melanoff explains that she had initially intended to place the baby in an orphanage, but then grew fond of her. Linda assures him that Ruth will be well taken care of at the factory.

The Willoughbys Movie Review
This movie has some amazing scenery and animation. The colors were very vibrant and free. The nanny was my favorite character. Unlike a lot of nannies and babysitters these days, she was very devoted. Finding out she herself was an orphan was kind of an unexpected twist and explained why she took care of the Willoughby children. The parents should be ashamed. Alessia Cara’s voice was so beautiful and majestic. Everyone did a great job, but hearing Alessia in this movie changed my life. She was outstanding.
