Pelli Choopulu Movie Story
Prasanth attends a matchmaking event at Chitra’s house. He is a B.Tech graduate who took nearly five years to complete his degree due to his laziness and lack of motivation. His dream is to become a chef and open a restaurant, but he receives no support from his father. In contrast, Chitra is a determined young woman working hard to achieve her goal of moving to Australia, but her father dismisses her ambitions simply because she is a girl.
During the matchmaking event, Chitra and Prasanth’s younger cousin, Subhash, accidentally jams the door, trapping them inside. To pass the time, they begin to share their stories. Chitra recounts her previous relationship with a North Indian guy named Vikram. They had dreams of starting a food truck business together. Vikram had gone to Delhi to discuss their future with his father, while Chitra eagerly prepared to surprise him by buying the food truck. However, things took a turn when Vikram, influenced by the lure of dowry, failed to return. After waiting in vain, Chitra and her father realized that Vikram wouldn’t come back, leading her father to arrange her marriage to someone else.
