Badhaai Do is a 2022 Indian Hindi comedy-drama film directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Produced by Junglee Pictures, the film is a spiritual sequel to Badhaai Ho (2018). The film sees a couple having a lavender-hued wedding. It stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. Gulshan Devaiah, Chum Dalang, Sheeba Chaddha and Seema Pafa play supporting roles.
The film was officially announced in March 2020. Principal photography began on January 5, 2021 in Dehradun. The film was released in theatres on February 11, 2022.

Even if the protagonist is not gay, it has tried to normalise many stereotypical prejudices like a gay police officer, a Hindi speaking girl from the North East, a widow playing an important role in a large Hindu family and marriage etc., so overall it is a very entertaining film that teaches some very important lessons without being unnecessarily didactic. A must see.
