Nitham Oru Vaanam is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Ra. Karthik in his directorial debut. The film stars Ashok Selvan in a triple role alongside Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali and Shivathmika Rajashekar in the principal roles.
Gopi Sundar composed the film’s music and cinematography was performed by Vidhu Ayyanna. The film was announced in January 2017, but went through a change of cast, and was relaunched in June 2021. It was subsequently released on 4 November 2022.

The film revolves around Arjun, a young man with obsessive-compulsive disorder, which makes him rather closed-off and rude towards most people and events around him and has a strong aversion to trying things outside his comfort zone. However, he has a habit of imagining himself as the protagonist in every story he reads.
After a long time, he meets Janani, a woman he thought would understand him, and begins to develop feelings for her. Preparations for Arjun-Janani’s wedding are going well when Janani decides to reconcile with her ex-boyfriend, resulting in the wedding being called off, leaving Arjun depressed. To overcome this hurdle, Arjun’s doctor advises him to read a short story she has written about two couples, Veera-Meenakshi and Matti-Prabha, which gives rise to three distinct storylines.
Nitham Oru Vaanam Movie Review
A gentle and harmless film. It depicts the negative events that happen in the protagonist’s life, but does not spread negativity. It is also about people who exaggerate the small accidents in their life. Their reactions are in conflict with the lives of other people who have experienced setbacks in their lives. It is a very good story.
The only drawback is the length of the film. It definitely drags on quite a bit. could have been clearer. .If time is not a factor then this is definitely a film to motivate you to watch. If time is a factor you can always fast forward and watch it once. Was not disappointed at all.
