Pathaan Movie Tamilyogi

Pathaan is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. Written by Sridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala based on an original story by Anand, the film is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. Shah Rukh Khan plays the title role, with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles. The first part of the universe, where character crossovers occur and the universe is officially established as a brand, tells the story of Jim, an exiled RAW agent who teams up with ISI agent Rubina Mohsin to plan an attack on India using a deadly virus created by a lab.

Principal photography began in November 2020 in Mumbai. The film was shot in various locations across India, Afghanistan, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia, Italy and France. The film’s songs were composed by Vishal-Shekhar, with music by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. The film was made at an estimated cost of 250 million rupees (US$30 million).

Pathaan was released in Indian theatres on January 25, 2023, to coincide with Republic Day weekend. The film set several box office records for Hindi films in India, including highest opening day, highest single day, highest opening weekend and highest opening week for a Hindi film.

Pathaan Movie Story

In 2019, the Indian government repealed Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, which granted special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The news hits General Qadir, a cancer-stricken Pakistani army officer, hard. He decides to take revenge on India and makes a deal with a private terrorist organization called Outfit X.

RAW agent Pathan and his boss Nandini Grewal form a unit called Joint Operations and Covert Research (J.O.C.R.) to recruit ex-agents and soldiers who have retired but want to continue serving the country. With permission from Colonel Sunil Luthra, Pathan and his team head to Dubai to foil a suspected plot by Outfit X to attack the Indian President. However, they realize that their real plan was to kill two scientists, Drs. Farooqui and Dr. Sahani, and kidnap them. Jim, the leader of Outfit X, attacks a convoy of scientists and Pathan tries to stop him. A fight breaks out between Jim and the doctor. Sahani escapes.

Pathaan Movie Review

Siddharth Anand keeps his promise. This is Shahrukh’s comeback! The 57-year-old superstar, best known for Romance, returns after a four-year hiatus with a post-pandemic non-holiday film that broke all Hindi cinema records on its opening day. Pattern is everything we were promised and more. It’s a full-fledged anti-gravity action film set in a banana town. The film was captivating from Shahrukh’s entrance scene. It was an adrenaline rush, a true Bollywood spectacle. Though the film was an action film through and through, it had an emotional underpinning which served the film very well and the most important element – a good villain story. John Abraham was great as a ruthless, vengeful villain. The action scenes were great and each character had their own scenes. The trash talk between Shahrukh and Abraham was great and a lot of fun. Deepika was good with the machine gun too but I was hoping for a better backstory.
