In the fictional Middle Eastern town of Al Barkat, Ankit Sethi is the owner of a diamond insurance company, but is heavily in debt after an employee of his company misplaces a client’s diamonds worth ₹ 20 million. On an airplane, he meets Neha Grover, a flight attendant, and is instantly attracted to her. They then start dating, and Neha also likes him. They start dating, and after some time, Neha announces that she is pregnant. Ankit proposes to her, and she accepts. They are both attacked by two gangsters working for a client to whom Ankit owes money. Neha is seriously injured and suffers a miscarriage. Seeing no other way to repay the huge debt, the two decide to commit a robbery.
Minister Harish Sanyal plans to smuggle diamonds from Al Barkat to India in a plane carried by a courier appointed by him, and Ankit is to accompany him. The mobile phone with the diamonds on the back is kept in a briefcase locked with a pin code. Ankit makes a deal with Sanyal’s secretary and offers to give him the PIN code in exchange for half the diamond. On the plane, Ankit and Neha put their plan into action. While serving the passengers, Neha intentionally spills food on the delivery boy’s clothes and goes into the bathroom to clean up the stain. Seizing the opportunity, Ankit goes to retrieve the diamond from the briefcase, but at that moment, a group of masked terrorists appear and announce that they have hijacked the plane and taken all the passengers hostage.
